Saturday 8th of June gave me an opportunistic dive. Having had a weekend in Jervis Bay cancelled due to lack of interest I was determined to get back to Sydney and get wet, so up early and on the train on Saturday expecting to do no more than get tansk filled and ready for Sunday. However, Tara gave me a call to say that she had had a kick-boxing class cancelled and felt like a return to the water after 18 dry months. So I hop off of the train, meet up with her, sling the gear in the car and head off for air fills and a nice shallow dive...hoping to see the sharks again.

Got in the water just before the high tide, and almost immediately found three or four sharks, which we managed to keep with us throughout our forty two minutes in the water. Plenty of other stuff to see, and most importantly Tara went well, if a little overweighted. Water a bit chilly, but pretty clear, and but a taste of things to come.
