Yesterday, Sunday 9th March was a much more successful dive day. Two dives for a total of two and a half hours, no deeper than 7metres counting seahorses on a swimming enclosure net at Clifton Gardens in Sydney Harbour. Along with JCJ we counted 48 animals, most of them among the 74 we know are tagged, some new animals. A mixture of abdominalis (sp?) and whites. The water was incredibly clear for the harbour - 10m - warm at 22 degrees and as well as the seahorses there was loads of other critters - including 7 box fish, loads of blennies, octopus, blackfish and an incredible amount of fixed life. A real highlight was a large anenome in the pool with a resident domino. A lovely dive, and doing something worthwhile for Project Seahorse.
